DTN Early Word Grains 05/04 05:56 Row Crops Push Higher Early Tuesday July corn is up 10 3/4 cents, July soybeans are up 10 cents and July KC wheat is up 3 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst Pre-6 a.m. Globex Prices: July corn is up 10 3/4 cents, July soybeans are up 10 cents and July KC wheat is up 3 cents. CME Globex Recap: Early Tuesday, Dow Jones futures are slightly higher with no direction from European markets. Earning reports continue to trickle out Tuesday and have been mostly favorable this time around. The June U.S. Dollar Index is trading higher early Tuesday, recovering from its recent two-month low. G7 leaders meet in London Tuesday and crude oil is trading higher, another sign economic optimism is winning out over concerns about coronavirus. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 238.38 at 34,113.23 and the S&P 500 up 11.49 at 4,192.66 while the 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 1.61%. Early Monday, June Dow Jones futures are up 18 points. Markets in Japan and China are closed until Thursday this week. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.42%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 0.18% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.22%. The June euro is down $0.0062 at $1.2015. The June U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.41 at 91.34. The June 30-year T-bond is down 4/32nds, while June gold is down $7.30 at $1,784.50 and June crude oil is up $0.76 at $65.25. June Malaysian palm oil is trading up 0.1%.
