DTN Closing Grain Comments 09/30 14:01 Soybeans Fall; USDA Finds More Soybeans on Hand November soybeans closed down 27 3/4 cents after USDA found 256 mb of U.S. soybeans in inventory on Sept. 1, 81 mb more than earlier estimated. Corn ended down 2 1/4 cents, also pressured by a finding of more supplies than expected on September 1. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: December corn closed down 2 1/4 cents and March corn was down 2 1/2 cents. November soybeans closed down 27 3/4 cents and March soybeans were down 26 1/2 cents. December KC wheat closed up 20 cents, December Chicago wheat was up 15 1/4 cents and December Minneapolis wheat was up 9 cents. The December U.S. Dollar Index is unchanged at 94.36. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 353.64 points at 34,037.08. December gold is up $34.10 at $1,757.0, December silver is up $0.65 at $22.13 and December copper is down $0.0955. November crude oil is up $0.20 at $75.03, November heating oil is up $0.0339, November RBOB gasoline is up $0.0189 and November natural gas is up $0.391.
