Nearby basis levels for white wheat are hovering in the 275 over range, which sets about 10 cents below recent highs, while basis is holding steady for the protein wheats. The Pacific Northwest is seeing the first measurable snowfall of the year this week, providing some snow cover ahead of cool weather. Shipments..Soybeans continue to be the big mover off west coast ports, as total wheat shipments were less than 10 mb last week across all ports. Year-to-date shipments now stand 17% behind a year ago at 409 mb. Hard red winter was the top shipper with 3.8 mb, followed by hard red spring and white wheat with 2 mb each. South Korea was the top destination off the west coast with 2.7 mb, followed by Guatemala with 1.7 mb. -Norm Ruhoff Contributing Analyst Copyright 2021 DTN/Telvent. All Rights Reserved.
