GreatAg is a secure portal accessed by either our agent partners or their customers. Agents log on to the site using their own unique password provided by Great American; policyholders’ initial logon requires their policy and tax identification numbers and email address. Great American then generates a unique password that is sent immediately via email, which they will use for ongoing access to the system. GreatAg is fully protected by a state-of-the-art redundant data security protocol.

Agent Access

Agents can use the GreatAg portal to access virtually all the information they need to manage their relationship with both GreatAmerican and their customers. They can also use the site to import (or export) data into (or out of) the GreatAg system and submit all the e-forms required to apply for coverage. Agents can also submit any scanned document directly into the GreatAg system, eliminating paper and postage costs.

Through the GreatAg portal, agents can access:

  • Accounting- commissions, history and status of premium payments;
  • Policy Terms- complete terms and conditions of each policy in force;
  • Claims- file a claim; claims status; complete loss history
  • CIMS- field access to FSA data to enable on-site quoting

Notification System

With Great American’s notification system, our agents and growers are provided real-time email or text notifications as claims advance through our claim process. These notifications provide our agents and growers with the most up-to-date status regarding their claims, as well as adjuster contact and other useful information.

Agents are able to set up and customize their notification settings to receive updates on as many of our claim status categories as they’d like. Agents can also update the email address or mobile number associated with their notification account. They can enroll their growers to receive notifications as well.

eClaims, Great American’s claims processing application, provides Adjusters with remote access to policyholders’ claim and policy information, which allows for quick and accurate claim determinations. eClaims is equipped with electronic signature and document upload capabilities to facilitate a paperless claims process. Signed claim paperwork is electronically transmitted for payment from the field to the Regional Office via eClaims, eliminating mail delays traditionally associated with the claims process.
Great American’s Adjusters also use eClaims to document their contact with the policyholder and update the status of a claim. This information is shared through GreatAg and available for agent viewing.
