DTN Early Word Grains 09/15 05:55 Soybeans Post "Conditional" Rally December corn was 1 cent lower, November soybeans were 2 cents higher, and December Chicago wheat was 3 cents lower. By Darin Newsom DTN Senior Analyst 6:00 a.m. CME Globex: December corn was 1 cent lower, November soybeans were 2 cents higher, and December Chicago wheat was 3 cents lower. CME Globex Recap: Soybeans were higher early Tuesday morning, supported in part by NASS' lower weekly crop condition numbers (more on that later). Corn and wheat were lower, giving back a small part of Monday's rally in low trade volume. Outside markets were mixed with energies higher and metals lower. OUTSIDE MARKETS: The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 62.13 points lower Monday at 16,370.96. DJIA futures were 56 points lower overnight. Asian markets were mixed with the Nikkei up 60.78 points at 18,026.48. China's Shanghai Composite was down 17.69 points. European markets were mostly lower. The U.S. dollar index was down 0.067 at 95.179. Crude oil was $0.29 higher at $44.29 while Brent crude was $0.06 higher at $46.43. December gold was $2.70 lower at $1,105.00. Soybeans at China's Dalian Exchange and Malaysian palm oil futures were both lower.
