DTN Closing Livestock Comment 10/19 15:31 Cattle Futures Close Higher Live and feeder cattle futures posted triple-digit gains Monday, while lean hog futures posted modest losses. By Rick Kment DTN Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base is $1.71 higher compared with the prior day settlement ($66.00-$72.00, weighted average $70.53). Corn futures closed lower, down 3 3/4 in the December and down 3 1/2 in the July.
