Both hard red spring and winter wheat markets remain flat bid into December, with white wheat showing carries of 3 cents per month into spring delivery. Japan was in the market this week, covering a total of 3.6 mb from the US for their November and December requirements. Weekly Sales...USDA reported total sales of 13 mb last week, which puts year-to-date sales at 448 mb and 17% behind a year ago. The Philippines was top buyer with 4 mb, mostly white wheat and hard red spring. Sales by class showed hard red spring top seller with 6 mb, followed by soft white with 3 mb and hard red winter with 2 mb.
