DTN Closing Livestock Comment 11/04 15:20 Meat Futures Close Lower Wednesday Live and feeder cattle futures closed triple-digits lower; some contracts were limit down. Lean hog futures were also lower. By Rick Kment DTN Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base is $1.61 lower compared with the Prior Day settlement ($53.00-$57.50, weighted average $56.24). Corn futures closed unchanged in the December contract and down 1/4 cent in the July.
