DTN Early Word Grains 11/10 06:03 Grains Await Report Results December corn was fractionally lower, January soybeans were 1 cent higher, and December Chicago wheat was 1 cent higher. By Darin Newsom DTN Senior Analyst 6:00 a.m. CME Globex: December corn was fractionally lower, January soybeans were 1 cent higher, and December Chicago wheat was 1 cent higher. CME Globex Recap: Grain markets saw quiet trade overnight, not surprising with USDA November numbers set for release later Tuesday (12pm ET, 11am CT). Outside markets were mixed with the U.S. dollar index regaining some of Monday's sell-off while DJIA futures remain under pressure. Metals and energies were also mixed. OUTSIDE MARKETS: The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 179.85 points lower Monday at 17,730.48. The NASDAQ Composite was down 51.82 points at 5,095.30. DJIA futures were 46 points lower overnight. Asian markets were mostly lower with the Nikkei up 28.52 points at 19,671.26 and China's Shanghai Composite was 6.40 points lower. European markets were also mostly lower. The U.S. dollar index was up 0.105 at 90.084. Crude oil was $0.10 higher at $43.97 while Brent crude was $0.01 lower at $47.18. December gold was $4.80 higher at $1,092.90. Dalian soybean futures were lower and Malaysian palm oil futures were higher.
