DTN Closing Livestock Comment 12/14 15:52 Livestock Futures Close Lower Livestock futures closed lower again Monday, with triple-digit losses in live and feeder cattle pressuring the lean hog contracts lower also. By Rick Kment DTN Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base is .37 lower compared with the Prior Day settlement ($45.50-$53.00, weighted average $51.27). Corn futures closed up 5 1/2 cents in the March and up 4 1/2 cents in the July contract.
