DTN Closing Livestock Comment 03/09 15:10 Livestock Futures Mixed Wednesday Live cattle futures closed mixed on Wednesday, up 22 to down 37. Feeder cattle futures were up 7 to down 30. Lean hog futures were up 20 to 232. By Rick Kment DTN Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: According to the closing report, the Iowa hog base is $1.57 higher compared with the Prior Day settlement ($57.00-$66.00, weighted average $64.32). Corn futures closed lower, down 1 cent in the May contract and down 1 1/4 cents in the December.
