By Darin Newsom DTN Senior Analyst 6:00 a.m. CME Globex: July corn was near unchanged, July beans were 6 cents higher, and July Chicago wheat was 3 cents lower. CME Globex Recap: Grains were mixed early Friday morning, ahead of the June round of USDA Supply and Demand and Crop Production reports. Outside markets were under pressure as the U.S. dollar index continues to rally. There, traders are getting in position for next week's two-day FOMC meeting culminating with the next announcement regarding interest rates. DJIA futures were also lower, pressured by weaker overseas markets. OUTSIDE MARKETS: The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 19.86 points lower at 17,985.19, the NASDAQ Composite lost 16.02 points to 4,958.62, and the S&P 500 fell 3.64 points to close at 2,115.48 Thursday. DJIA futures were 81 points lower overnight. Asian markets were lower with Japan's Nikkei down 67.05 points (0.4%) while China's Shanghai Composite dipped 1.37 points (0.3%). European markets were also lower with London's FTSE 100 off 100.82 points (1.6%). The U.S. dollar index rallied 0.317 to 94.270. Crude oil was off $0.69 to $49.87 while Brent crude was down $0.59 to $51.36. August gold was $1.70 lower at $1,271.00. China's Dalian soybean futures and Malaysian palm oil futures were both lower overnight.
