DTN Early Word Grains 06/22 05:56 Replaying Tuesday Morning Early Wednesday December corn was unchanged, November soybeans were 2 cents higher, and July Kansas City wheat was 2 cents higher. By Darin Newsom DTN Senior Analyst 6:00 a.m. CME Globex: December corn was unchanged, November soybeans were 2 cents higher, and July Kansas City wheat was 2 cents higher. CME Globex Recap: In what seems to be a reply of Tuesday morning, early Wednesday finds soybeans and wheat higher as corn just slipped back below unchanged. If the replay continues, grains could slip to double-digit losses before the end of the overnight session. However, the U.S. dollar index and gold are down while crude oil and DJIA futures are rallying. OUTSIDE MARKETS: The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 24.86 points higher at 17,829.73, the NASDAQ Composite gained 6.55 points to 4,843.76 and the S&P 500 rallied 5.65 points to close at 2,088.90 Tuesday. DJIA futures were 15 points higher overnight. Asian markets were mixed with Japan's Nikkei down 103.39 points (0.6%) while China's Shanghai Composite rallied 26.99 points (0.9%). European markets were also mixed one day ahead of the Brexit vote with London's FTSE 100 up 18.61 points (0.3%). The U.S. dollar index was down 0.227 to 93.790. Crude oil was up $0.60 to $50.45 while Brent crude rallied $0.53 to $51.15. August gold was $5.40 lower at $1,267.10. China's Dalian soybean futures and Malaysian palm oil futures were lower overnight.
