DTN Closing Livestock Comment 07/12 15:20 Cattle Futures Close Lower Live cattle futures closed lower Wednesday, down 7 to 50. Feeder cattle contracts were also lower, down 57 to 92. Lean hog futures were mixed, up 82 to down 37. By Rick Kment DTN Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: According to the closing report, the Iowa/Southern Minnesota hog base is $0.49 lower compared with the Prior Day settlement ($69.00-$76.95, weighted average $76.05). Corn futures closed higher, up 4 cents in the September contract and up 4 3/4 in the December.

We also provide training based on specialty crops and products, as well as basic training for agents new to the Crop Insurance Industry.

Great American provides convenient online testing that allows agents to meet their federal testing requirement from the comfort of their homes or offices. All agent testing will be completed within Crop University. Contact your regional office representative to establish a User ID and password.
