DTN Closing Livestock Comment 07/26 15:19 Cattle Futures Close Higher Tuesday Live cattle futures were higher Tuesday, up 52 to 150. Feeder cattle contracts were also higher, steady to up 115. Lean hog futures fell, down 20 to 107. By Rick Kment DTN Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: Cash cattle trade is not established. A few bids of $185 reported in Nebraska. According to the closing report, the national hog base is .35 lower compared with the Prior Day settlement ($63.00-69.75, weighted average $68.03). Corn futures closed lower, down 2 1/4 cents in the September contract and down 1 3/4 cents in the December.
