DTN Closing Livestock Comment 09/07 15:33 Livestock Futures Close Higher Wednesday Live cattle futures closed 92 to 240 higher Wednesday. Feeder cattle futures were also higher, up 187 to 275. Lean hog futures closed up 25 to 195. By Rick Kment DTN Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: Cash cattle trade remained at a standstill Wednesday afternoon with both bids and asking prices poorly defined. The National hog base closed $0.58 higher compared with the Prior Day settlement ($52.00-$60.00, weighted average $58.49). Corn futures closed higher, up 4 1/4 cents in the September contract and up 4 3/4 cents in the December.
