DTN Closing Livestock Comment 10/17 15:27 Cattle Futures Close Higher Live cattle futures closed higher Monday, up 70 to 155. Feeder contracts were also higher, up 90 to 157. Lean hog futures closed lower, down 22 to 135. By Rick Kment DTN Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: According to the closing report, the national hog base is $0.04 higher compared with the Prior Day settlement ($43.00-47.50, weighted average $45.91). Corn futures closed fractionally mixed, up 1/2 to down 1/4.

Great American provides our agents with a comprehensive training program. We provide the tools and resources necessary to stay current in the ever-changing Crop Insurance Industry. We also provide training based on specialty crops and products, as well as basic training for agents new to the Crop Insurance Industry.

Great American provides convenient online testing that allows agents to meet their federal testing requirement from the comfort of their homes or offices. All agent testing will be completed within Crop University. Contact your regional office representative to establish a User ID and password.
