DTN Closing Grain Comments 10/30 13:51 U.S. Dollar Reaches New High, Grains Slide Lower With the U.S. economy doing well, the U.S. dollar index is trading at its highest price in over a year and most commodities are lower, including grain prices. Corn, soybeans and all three wheats fell to lower closes Monday, struggling to find interested buyers while plenty of grain is available.
