DTN Early Word Grains 11/05 08:05 Softer Grains Overnight, Trade Deal Enthusiasm Fades December corn was up 1/2 cent, November soybeans were down 3 1/4 cents, and December KC wheat was unchanged. Tregg Cronin DTN Contributing Analyst 6:00 a.m. CME Globex: December corn was up 1/2 cent, November soybeans were up 3 1/4 cents, and December KC wheat was unchanged. CME Globex Recap: Global equities are mixed to weaker overnight as enthusiasm about a trade deal appears to have faded a touch. Energy prices continue to languish with crude oil trying to close lower for the sixth session in a row and closing in on 7-month lows. Grains gave up early gains overnight to remain below last week's highs with the WASDE on tap. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes on Friday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 109.91 points at 25,270.83 and the S&P 500 down 17.31 points at 2,723.06 while the 10-year Treasury yield ended at 3.207%. Early Monday, DJIA futures are down 48.00 points. Asian markets were weaker with Japan's Nikkei 225 down 344.67 points (-1.55%) and China's Shanghai Composite was down 11.05 points (0.41%). European markets are mixed with London's FTSE 100 down 0.78 points (-0.01%), Germany's DAX up 19.11 points (0.17%), and France's CAC 40 up 5.87 points (0.12%). The euro was down $0.00055 at $1.13925 and the U.S. dollar index was up 0.0110 at 96.5070. September 30-year T-Bonds were up 7/32nds while December gold was up $0.20 at $1233.50 and December crude oil was down 0.27 at $62.87. Soybeans on China's Dalian Exchange closed down 0.03% and soymeal closed down 1.17%.
