DTN Early Word Grains 11/07 06:06 Wheat, Soybeans Higher Ahead of WASDE December corn was down 1/4 cent, November soybeans were up 1 1/2 cents, and December KC wheat was up 3/4 cents. CME Globex Recap: U.S. equities look to open higher Wednesday morning with mixed election results as Democrats take the House but Republicans retain control of the Senate. There was no "Blue Wave," but the gridlock could be worse than ever the next two years. Crude oil attempting to close higher for the first session in eight. Grains waiting on Thursday's WASDE and the completion of harvest. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes on Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 173.31 points at 25,635.01, the S&P 500 up 17.14 points at 2,755.45 while the 10-year Treasury yield ended at 3.199%. Early Wednesday, DJIA futures are down 167.00. Asian markets were weaker with Japan's Nikkei 225 down 61.95 points (-0.28%) and China's Shanghai Composite was down 18.01 points (-0.68%). European markets are higher with London's FTSE 100 up 83.60 points (1.24%), Germany's DAX up 129.29 points (1.13%), and France's CAC 40 up 74.49 points (1.47%). The euro was up $0.00730 at $1.14970 and the U.S. dollar index was down 0.5740 at 95.6910. September 30-year T-Bonds were up 13/32nds while December gold was up $10.40 at $1236.70 and December crude oil was up $0.47 at $62.68. Soybeans on China's Dalian Exchange closed up 0.29% and soymeal closed up 0.28%.
