DTN Early Word Grains 11/26 05:50 Wheat Modestly Higher After Russian Aggression December corn was up 1/4 cent, January soybeans were down 6 cents and March K.C. wheat was up 3 1/4 cents. CME Globex Recap: March Chicago wheat is up 6 cents early Monday after Russia seized three Ukrainian ships near Crimea in waters that are supposed to be open, according to a bilateral treaty. Soybeans are lower with U.S. and Chinese leaders set to meet at G-20 Friday. European stock markets are modestly higher after European leaders agreed to Prime Minister May's Brexit plan, but getting the approval of British parliament may prove difficult. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes on Friday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 178.74 points at 24,285.95 and the S&P 500 down 17.37 points at 2,632.56, while the 10-year Treasury yield ended at 3.05%. Early Monday, DJIA futures are up 256 points. Asian markets were mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 up 165.45 points (0.8%) and China's Shanghai Composite was down 3.67 points (-0.1%). European markets are higher with London's FTSE 100 up 71.25 points (1.0%), Germany's DAX up 128.60 points (1.2%), and France's CAC 40 up 62.84 points (1.3%). The euro was up 0.0026 at 1.1381 and the U.S. dollar index was down 0.17 at 96.77. September 30-year T-Bonds were down 3/32nds while December gold was up $3.50 at $1226.50 and January crude oil was up $0.73 at $51.15. Soybeans on China's Dalian Exchange was slightly lower. Malaysian palm oil is down 3.9%.
