DTN Early Word Grains 11/27 06:04 Grains Higher With Focus on G-20 December corn was up 1 1/4 cents, November soybeans were up 3 1/4 cents, and December KC wheat was up 1 1/4 cents. CME Globex Recap: Quiet equity markets overnight with the G-20 Summit and holiday shopping results driving direction this week. The U.S. Dollar Index has quietly traded back up to high range, just off 17-month highs. Grains are higher overnight as row crops attempt to stabilize from Monday's losses. First notice day later this week will be a focus. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Monday's closes showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 354.29 points at 24,640.24 and the S&P 500 up 40.89 points at 2,673.45, while the 10-year Treasury yield ended at 3.057%. Early Tuesday, DJIA futures are down 44.00. Asian markets were mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 up 140.40 points (0.64%) and China's Shanghai Composite was down 1.13 points (-0.17%). European markets are lower with London's FTSE 100 down 21.55 points (-0.31%), Germany's DAX down 38.79 points (-0.34%), and France's CAC 40 down 14.94 points (-0.33%). The euro was down 0.00085 at 1.13385 and the U.S. dollar index was up 0.1030 at 97.1622. September 30-year T-Bonds were up 5/32nds while December gold was up $1.80 at $1230.50 and December crude oil was up $0.14 at $51.77. Soybeans on China's Dalian Exchange closed down 1.56% and soymeal closed down 3.16%.
