DTN Closing Grain Comments 02/12 13:51 Corn, Soybeans Rise Sharply on Trade Optimism; Wheat Mixed Soybeans and corn opened higher and surged to larger gains Tuesday, closing strong. Wheat was a mixed bag, with only Minneapolis and Chicago in the green, while Kansas City new crop scored another new contract low. Very strong macro markets, and an optimistic outlook on not only the government border funding deal, but also on the U.S.-China trade talks, brought buyers back into ag markets.
