DTN Closing Grain Comments 01/28 13:47 Corn Futures Score New High on China Demand, But Can't Hold; Beans and Wheat Plunge For the third consecutive day, USDA reported new corn sales to China, with Thursday's 66.9 mb sale bringing this week's total to a huge 147.1 mb. Demand remains stout, but corn and the soy complex retreated from sharp early gains, with soybeans, meal and wheat finishing lower for the day. March corn soared to a new contract high before plunging to finish a half-cent higher.
