IOWA . . . . . *PRIVATE SOURCES DTN COMMENTS: The country is slow to start this morning following a light to moderate trade in most areas yesterday. Asking prices for cattle left on showlists are around $124 to $125 in the South, and $XXX to $199 plus in the North. We will likely see a little scattered trade here and there today and tomorrow. Beef cutouts are expected to be mixed with light to moderate box movement. So far this week, Southern live trade has been marked at mostly $124, about steady with last week's weighted averages. Northern dressed business was marked at mostly $196, fully steady with last week's weighted average basis Nebraska.
