Exporter bid structures show a modest carry posted for white wheat, hard red winter being nearly flat into April and red spring 14% protein holding a 30 cent premium for February and March delivery. Shipments...Weekly export inspections showed the overall pace of U.S. wheat loadings was down slightly from the prior week at 13.2 mb, putting year-to-date shipments at 499 mb and holding 18% behind a year ago. Hard red winter was the top mover with 6.7 mb, followed by hard red spring at 3.4 mb and soft white moving 2.5 mb. Japan and Thailand were the primary destinations for wheat off the PNW ports, accounting for 4.4 mb and 2 mb respectively. Japan and China took on the majority of corn and soybeans. -Norm Ruhoff Contributing Analyst Copyright 2022 DTN/Telvent. All Rights Reserved.
