DTN Closing Grain Comments 03/03 14:06 Wheats Finish Limit Up; Fighting Continues in Ukraine All three wheats were limit up Thursday, posting 75-cent gains for May contracts of winter wheat and a 60-cent gain for May Minneapolis wheat. Corn and soybeans were also higher on another day dominated by concerns about Russia's attacks on Ukraine and what that will mean for crops in 2022. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed up 22 3/4 cents and December corn was up 2 3/4 cents. May soybeans closed up 4 3/4 cents and November soybeans were up 1 1/2 cents. May KC wheat closed up 75 cents, May Chicago wheat was up 75 cents and May Minneapolis wheat was up 60 cents. The March U.S. Dollar Index is trading up 0.32 at 97.74. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 145.78 points at 34,037.13. April gold is up $13.40 at $1,935.70, May silver is up $0.06 at $25.25 and May copper is up $0.1020. April crude oil is down $1.23 at $109.37, April heating oil is up $0.0520, April RBOB gasoline is up $0.0142 and April natural gas is down $0.004.
