IOWA . . . . . *PRIVATE SOURCES DTN COMMENTS: The country is very quiet this morning. Packer inquiry will likely improve as the day progresses, it is possible that we may see some business develop today and/or tomorrow. Some early asking prices have been noted to be around $138 to $140 in the South, and $230-plus in the North. Beef cutouts are expected to be lower with light to moderate box movement.
