Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY GLOBEX PRICES: December corn was down 2 cents, January soybeans were up 1 cent and December KC wheat was down 9 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Tuesday, stock futures in the U.S. were starting lower, while stocks in Europe and Japan were mixed. Stocks in China are mixed and the yuan fell lower after Monday's bearish showing of Chinese stocks in the U.S. responded to the installation of Xi Jinping as the sole leader of China for the next five years. Here in the U.S., traders will be watching for earnings reports from Microsoft, Alphabet (Google), UPS, Coca Cola and others on Tuesday. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 417.06 at 31,499.62 and the S&P 500 up 44.59 at 3,797.34, while the 10-Year Treasury yield inched up to 4.23%, near the highest yield since 2008. Early Tuesday, December Dow Jones futures are trading down 164 points. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 1.02% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.04%. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 0.58%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 0.52% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.30%. The December euro is down $0.0016 at $.9901. The December U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.05 at 111.96. The December 30-year T-bond is up 18/32nds, while December gold is down $6.90 at $1,647.20 and December crude oil is down $0.66 at $83.92. On China's Dalian exchange, January corn was down 0.7%, November soybeans were down 1.8%, January soybean meal was up 0.0% and January soybean oil was down 0.6%. December Malaysian palm oil is trading down 0.8%.
