DTN Closing Grain Comments 10/26 13:50 Soybean Oil Climbs on Quiet Day in Grains, Helped by Higher Fuel Prices December soybean oil closed at a new four-month high Wednesday, lifted by new highs in November diesel futures after the Energy Department reported another week of lean fuel supplies. Corn and soybeans were quietly mixed and all three U.S. wheats saw modest gains, possibly finding support after two weeks of slowly eroding prices. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: December corn closed down 1 1/4 cents and July corn was down 2 1/4 cents. January soybeans closed up 3/4 cent and July soybeans were unchanged. December KC wheat closed up 6 1/4 cents, December Chicago wheat was up 5 3/4 cents and December Minneapolis wheat was down 1/4 cent. The December U.S. Dollar Index is trading down 1.29 at 109.54. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 66.40 points at 31,903.14. December gold is up $12.90 at $1,670.90, December silver is up $0.18 at $19.53 and December copper is up $0.1395. December crude oil is up $2.63 at $87.95, December ultra-low sulfur diesel is up $0.0914, December RBOB gasoline is up $0.0122 and December natural gas is down $0.069.
