DTN Closing Grain Comments 01/05 13:52 Crop Prices Threaten Third Day Lower, End Mixed Thursday's trade saw crop prices start higher early, turn lower with another higher performance from the U.S. dollar and claw back to a mixed finish. At the end of the session, March soybeans were down 12 3/4 cents, March soybean meal was up $2.20, and the three U.S. wheats were mixed. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed down 1 cent and July corn was down 2 1/2 cents. March soybeans closed down 12 3/4 cents and July soybeans were down 12 1/2 cents. March KC wheat closed down 1 cent, March Chicago wheat was up 1 1/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was up 5 1/2 cents.
