DTN Closing Grain Comments 01/20 13:48 Corn, Soybeans and Meal Continue to Falter on Argentine Weather, Fund Selling; Wheat Firms For the third consecutive day, corn, soybeans and soy meal fell on a more favorable rain forecast for Argentina and fund liquidation. Wheat for once, rejected early weakness to move modestly higher, stopping the bleeding. Dana Mantini Senior Market Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed down 1 cent per bushel and May corn was down 1/4 cent. March soybeans closed down 8 1/4 cents and May soybeans were down 9 3/4 cents. March KC wheat closed up 16 cents, March Chicago wheat was up 7 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was up 7 3/4 cents. The March U.S. Dollar Index is trading down 0.056 at 101.775. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 191.91 points at 33,236.47. February gold is up $7.70 at $1,931.60, March silver is up $0.21 at $24.08 and March copper is up $0.0325 at $4.2640. February crude oil is up $0.85 at $81.18, March heating oil is up $0.0676, February RBOB is up $0.0483 and February natural gas is down $0.103.
