DTN Closing Livestock Comment 01/27 16:00 Southern Feedlots Gain $1.00 Friday Heading into next week's market, cattlemen are going to be especially anxious to see what Tuesday's cattle inventory report reveals. ShayLe Stewart DTN Livestock Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS The complex faced some pressure early on, but by Friday's end, most of the livestock contracts close higher. Hog prices closed lower on the Daily Direct Afternoon Hog Report, down $0.30 with a weighted average of $70.63 on 6,789 head. March corn is up 1/2 cent per bushel and March soybean meal is down $3.60. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 28.67 points.
