DTN Closing Grain Comments 02/07 13:50 Soybeans, Corn, Soymeal Head South; Kansas City Wheat Firms Again Soybeans rejected early strength, falling with soymeal, which has now plunged $20 per ton in just the past two days. Corn weakened again, falling below the 20-day moving average, while KC wheat rose for the ninth time in the past 10 trading sessions. Dana Mantini Senior Market Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed down 5 cents per bushel and May corn was down 4 3/4 cents. March soybeans closed down 6 cents and May soybeans were down 4 1/4 cents. March KC wheat closed up 9 3/4 cents, March Chicago wheat was down 1/2 cent and March Minneapolis wheat was down 2 1/4 cents.
