Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: March corn is up 2 cents, March soybeans are up 3 cents and March KC wheat is up 8 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Friday, stock futures in the U.S. were trading lower along with European stocks after digesting a large number of earnings reports on Thursday. The University of Michigan's index of U.S. consumer sentiment is set for 9 a.m. CST Friday, followed by the U.S. Treasury's report on the January federal budget. Friday's earnings schedule is lighter and includes Fortis and Enbridge. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Thursday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 249.13 at 33,699.88 and the S&P 500 down 36.36 at 4,081.50. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.68%, up from the lowest yield in over four months. Early Friday, March Dow Jones futures are down 122 points. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 0.31% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.30%. European markets are lower with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 0.44%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 1.08% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading down 0.70%. The March euro is down $0.0040 at $1.0718. The March U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.23 at 103.34. The March 30-year T-bond is down 5/32nds, while April gold is down $4.70 at $1,873.80 and March crude oil is up $1.92 at $79.98. On China's Dalian exchange, March corn was down 0.1%, March soybeans were down 0.7%, May soybean meal was down 0.2% and May soybean oil was down 1.1%. April Malaysian palm oil is trading down 1.1%.
