DTN Early Word Grains 02/13 05:37 Row Crops Mixed, Wheat Prices Fall Back From Friday's Gains March corn is down 2 cents, March soybeans are up 1 cent and March KC wheat is down 9 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: March corn is down 2 cents, March soybeans are up 1 cent and March KC wheat is down 9 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Monday, stock futures in the U.S. were trading a little lower, while stocks in Europe were starting higher. With earnings season continuing this week, investors are still aware inflation remain above the Federal Reserve's inflation target and will likely bring more rate hikes in 2023. USDA's weekly report of grain inspections is set for 10 a.m. CST Monday. Monday's earnings reports include S&W Seed Company. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Friday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 169.39 at 33,869.27 and the S&P 500 up 8.96 at 4,090.46. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.74%, up from the lowest yield in over four months. Early Monday, March Dow Jones futures are down 28 points. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down 0.88% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.72%. European markets are higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.36%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 0.31% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.57%. The March euro is up $0.0007 at $1.0699. The March U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.09 at 103.62. The March 30-year T-bond is up 1/32nd, while April gold is down $8.70 at $1,865.80 and March crude oil is down $1.12 at $78.60. On China's Dalian exchange, March corn was up 0.8%, March soybeans were down 0.3%, May soybean meal was up 1.0% and May soybean oil was up 0.1%. April Malaysian palm oil is trading down 0.4%.
