Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: March corn is up 1/2 cent, March soybeans are down 4 cents and March KC wheat is up 1 cent. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early on Valentine's Day, stock futures in the U.S. were trading slightly higher with stocks in Europe and Asia also a little higher. Traders are anticipating the U.S. Labor Department's consumer price index for January at 7:30 a.m. CST Tuesday. USDA's Livestock, Dairy and Poultry outlook will be out at 2 p.m. Tuesday's earnings reports include Andersons, Inc., Fannie Mae and Coca-Cola. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 376.66 at 34,245.93 and the S&P 500 up 46.83 at 4,137.29. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.72%, up from the lowest yield in over four months. Early Tuesday, March Dow Jones futures are up 45 points. Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 0.64% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.28%. European markets are higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.49%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 0.16% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.42%. The March euro is up $0.0041 at $1.0776. The March U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.35 at 102.90. The March 30-year T-bond is up 10/32nds, while April gold is up $7.80 at $1,871.30 and March crude oil is down $1.13 at $79.01. On China's Dalian exchange, March corn was up 0.4%, March soybeans were up 0.5%, May soybean meal was down 0.3% and May soybean oil was up 0.2%. April Malaysian palm oil is trading up 0.9%.
