DTN Closing Grain Comments 02/21 13:52 Soybeans, Meal Trade Higher on New Argentine Crop Woes May soybeans were up 21 3/4 cents and May soybean meal was up $6.70 Tuesday after getting news over the weekend of frost in central Argentina, a surprising event for this time of year. May Chicago wheat posted Tuesday's largest percentage loss, down 13 1/2 cents with moderate to heavy precipitation expected in the eastern Midwest by the weekend. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed up 3 cents and December corn was up 3/4 cent. May soybeans closed up 21 3/4 cents and November soybeans were up 12 3/4 cents. May KC wheat closed down 2 1/4 cents and May Chicago wheat was down 13 1/2 cents.
