Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: May corn is down 2 cents, May soybeans are down 4 cents and May KC wheat is down 11 1/2 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Wednesday, stock futures in the U.S. are steady while stocks in Europe and Asia are lower, following Tuesday's losses and hostile comments from Russia's President Putin. At 1 p.m. CST, the Federal Reserve will release minutes from the latest Open Market Committee meeting, but the market is already well aware more rate hikes are likely. Wednesday's earnings news include Kaiser Aluminum, Boise Cascade, Nvidia and Mosaic. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 697.10 at 33,129.59 and the S&P 500 down 81.75 at 3,997.34. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.95%, the highest yield in over three months. Early Wednesday, March Dow Jones futures are down 10 points. Asian markets are lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 index is down 1.34%% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.47%. European markets are lower with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 0.92%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 0.57% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading down 0.68%. The March euro is down $0.0012 at $1.0650. The March U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.11 at 104.22. The March 30-year T-bond is unchanged, while April gold is up $0.10 at $1,842.60 and April crude oil is down $1.32 at $75.04. On China's Dalian exchange, May corn was down 0.0%, May soybeans were up 0.4%, May soybean meal was up 0.3% and May soybean oil was down 0.0%. May Malaysian palm oil is trading up 0.2%.
