Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: May corn is down 1 cent, May soybeans are down 9 cents and May KC wheat is down 3 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Tuesday, stock futures in the U.S. are slightly higher in end of the month trading, still held down by the anticipation of more rate hikes ahead. GDP reports from Europe were mixed with small fourth-quarter gains reported in France, Denmark and Poland. DTN's Ag Summit Series begins at 8:30 a.m. CST Tuesday, followed by the Conference Board's index of U.S. consumer confidence at 9 a.m. Tuesday's earnings reports include Agilent Technologies, Target and AutoZone. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 72.17 at 32,889.09 and the S&P 500 up 12.20 at 3,982.24. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.92%, near the highest yield in over three months. Early Tuesday, March Dow Jones futures are up 40 points. Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 0.08% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.66%. European markets are lower with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 0.53%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 0.26% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading down 0.17%. The March euro is steady at $1.0618. The March U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.04 at 104.66. The March 30-year T-bond is down 14/32nds, while April gold is down $7.80 at $1,817.10 and April crude oil is up $0.73 at $76.41. On China's Dalian exchange, May corn was down 0.2%, May soybeans were down 0.7%, May soybean meal was down 0.8% and May soybean oil was down 0.5%. May Malaysian palm oil is trading down 1.6%.
