DTN Closing Grain Comments 03/06 13:55 Soybean Meal Surges Higher, While KC Wheat Falls to New Low On a day that started with all red quotes in the morning, May soybean meal turned around and closed up $12.10 at a new contract high of $493.40 Monday, continually propped up by what looks like insatiable demand. On the other end of the spectrum, May KC wheat suffered another double-digit loss, ending at its lowest price in over a year. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed down 2 3/4 cents and December corn was down 1 cent. May soybeans closed up 10 1/4 cents and November soybeans were up 6 1/4 cents. May KC wheat closed down 18 1/2 cents, May Chicago wheat was down 13 1/2 cents and May Minneapolis wheat was down 10 1/2 cents.
