DTN Early Word Grains 03/06 05:32 Crop Prices Lower Early Monday, Brazil Soy Harvest Continues May corn is down 4 cents, May soybeans are down 8 cents and May KC wheat is down 12 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: May corn is down 4 cents, May soybeans are down 8 cents and May KC wheat is down 12 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Monday, stock futures in the U.S. are starting roughly steady with stocks mixed in both Europe and Asia. Federal Reserve Chairman Powell will address Congress on Tuesday and Wednesday, reminding them the Fed is committed to bringing down inflation and that more rate hikes will be needed. USDA's weekly report of grain export inspections will be out at 10 a.m. CST and will likely fulfill low expectations. Wednesday's WASDE report is expected to see a lower export estimate for corn. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Friday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 387.40 at 33,390.97 and the S&P 500 Index up 64.29 at 4,045.64 The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.96%. Early Monday, March Dow Jones futures are down 14.0 points. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 0.45%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 0.22% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.37%. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 1.11% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.19.
