DTN Closing Grain Comments 03/14 13:50 Corn Gets Modest Boost From China Purchase; Wheat Prices Rebound May corn ended up 7 1/4 cents Tuesday after USDA said China bought 24.1 million bushels of U.S. corn for 2022-23, a market that has not had a lot of business this season. May KC wheat closed up 17 1/4 cents, pivoting away from last week's sub-$7 prices after another week of mostly dry weather reduced good-to-excellent crop ratings in Oklahoma and Texas. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed up 7 1/4 cents and December corn was up 2 cents. May soybeans closed up 2 1/2 cents and November soybeans were down 3/4 cent. May KC wheat closed up 17 1/4 cents, May Chicago wheat was up 11 3/4 cents and May Minneapolis wheat was up 15 3/4 cents.
