DTN Early Word Grains 03/15 05:44 Bullish CFTC Commitments of Traders Report Helps Rally Grain Markets May corn is up 6 cents, May soybeans are up 3 cents and May KC wheat is up 4 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: May corn is up 6 cents, May soybeans are up 3 cents and May KC wheat is up 4 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Tuesday's sharp equity rally came as the marketplace scrutinized the balance sheets of the regional banking system and found that most bank's deposits were properly invested, and their risks were properly managed. Bank stocks recovered some of their lost equity during Tuesday's trade. Meanwhile, the CPI data was in line with industry expectations which also helped market psychology. Expectations for the Federal Reserve meeting next week is now split between a 1/4-point rate hike and a pause. Two weeks ago during Fed Chairman Powell's testimony in front of Congress, a 1/2-point rate hike was priced into the marketplace. Wednesday morning, stocks are giving back Tuesday's gains with losses accelerating over the past hour. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 336.26 at 32,155.40 and the S&P 500 Index up 63.53 at 3,919.29. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.64%. Early Wednesday, March Dow Jones futures are down 320 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 1.65%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 1.55% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading down 2.25%. Asian markets are also lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down 2.17% and China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.02%.
