DTN Closing Grain Comments 03/16 14:03 Soybean Oil, Corn Prices End Higher on Mixed Day in Grains In a week dominated by concerns about banking problems, May corn and May soybean oil both finished a third day higher, helped by a third consecutive corn export sale to China. May contracts of U.S. wheat were steady to lower with traders waiting to hear if the Black Sea Grain Initiative will be extended. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed up 6 1/4 cents and December corn was up 1 1/2 cents. May soybeans closed up 2 1/4 cents and November soybeans were down 1/4 cent. May KC wheat was steady, May Chicago wheat was down 3 3/4 cents and May Minneapolis wheat was down 3 1/2 cents.
