DTN Closing Grain Comments 04/03 13:38 Soybeans, Bean Oil Keep Rising on Tight Stocks, Crude Oil Strength Soybeans followed up on Friday's NASS-inspired rally by moving higher again to begin the new week. Last week's March USDA report featured lower stocks and acreage than traders had expected. Bean oil was along for Monday's rise on a surprise production cut by OPEC+ and the resulting surge in crude oil futures. Dana Mantini Senior Market Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed down 2 3/4 cents and December corn was up 1 cent. May soybeans closed up 16 1/2 cents and November soybeans were up 13 cents. May KC wheat closed down 2 1/2 cents, May Chicago wheat was up 1 1/4 cents and May Minneapolis wheat was up 1 cent.
