DTN Closing Grain Comments 04/06 13:41 Soybeans, Corn Crumble on Good Planting Weather Ahead Soybeans, soybean oil and corn moved sharply lower Thursday, fueled by weak outside markets and a warmer and drier forecast ahead, which is conducive for rapid seeding. Both hard wheat markets bucked the bearish trend early on weather issues -- too hot and dry in hard winter country, and heavy snowpack in spring wheat regions, with KC and Minneapolis finishing higher. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed down 9 1/4 cents and December corn was down 4 cents. May soybeans closed down 18 1/2 cents and November soybeans were down 6 1/4 cents. May KC wheat closed up 3 cents, May Chicago wheat was down 6 1/2 cents and May Minneapolis wheat was up 3/4 cents.
