DTN Early Word Grains 04/06 05:28 Row Crop Prices Under Pressure Ahead of Export Sales Report May corn is down 3 cents, May soybeans are down 7 cents and May KC wheat is up 6 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: May corn is down 3 cents, May soybeans are down 7 cents and May KC wheat is up 6 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Thursday, U.S. stock futures are starting a little higher with stocks up in Europe. Thursday is the final day of trading in the U.S. this week and investors remain concerned about a slowing economy and the jobs numbers the Labor Department will report Friday. On Thursday, USDA's weekly report of export sales will be out at 7:30 a.m. CDT, the same time as U.S. weekly jobless claims and an update of the U.S. Drought Monitor. At 9:30 a.m., the Department of Energy will have its weekly report on natural gas storage. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Wednesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 80.34 at 33,482.72 and the S&P 500 Index down 10.22 at 4,090.38. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.29%. Early Thursday, June Dow Jones futures are up 21 points. European markets are higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.63%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 0.39% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.29%. Asian markets are mostly lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 index down 1.22% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up slightly.
