DTN Closing Grain Comments 04/14 14:02 Corn, Wheat Surge Higher; Black Sea Grain Deal Being Threatened May corn closed up 14 cents and May KC wheat closed up 33 1/2 cents Friday, responding to unconfirmed talk that Russia is considering putting an end to the Black Sea Grain Initiative, a key facilitator of corn and wheat exports from both Ukraine and Russia. November soybeans fell 11 cents to $13.01 1/2, its lowest close in April with a larger crop expected in the fall. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed up 14 cents and December corn was up 6 1/4 cents. May soybeans ended down 1/2 cent and November soybeans were down 11 cents. May KC wheat closed up 33 1/2 cents, May Chicago wheat was up 15 1/2 cents and May Minneapolis wheat was up 26 3/4 cents.
