DTN Early Word Grains 04/17 05:32 Row Crop Prices Mixed to Start New Week July corn is down 1 1/2 cents, July soybeans are up 8 cents and July KC wheat is down 9 cents. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: July corn is down 1 1/2 cents, July soybeans are up 8 cents and July KC wheat is down 9 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Early Monday, U.S. stock futures are starting slightly higher, in line with stocks in Europe. Earnings reports continue this week with Charles Schwab due out Monday and traders remain concerned about another rate hike coming in May. USDA's weekly export inspections will be out at 10 a.m. CDT Monday, followed by a report on members' soybean crush from the National Oilseeds Processors Association, later Monday morning. At 3 p.m., USDA's Crop Progress and Livestock, Dairy and Poultry reports will be released. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Friday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 143.22 at 33,886.47 and the S&P 500 Index down 8.58 at 4,137.64. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 3.52%. Early Monday, June Dow Jones futures are up 19 points. European markets are a little higher with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading up 0.47%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading up 0.24% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.07%. Asian markets are a little higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 0.07% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 1.42%.
